Bicker -Bicker -Bicker that is all I heard through the whole shoot. If you didn’t know Lavonne and Nathan you may wonder about this couple. But they are the cutest and most loving two individuals I have ever met. This is our second engagement shoot with them. Not because the first went bad, it was wonderful, but because we just wanted to photograph them more. I can not wait until their wedding day so we can capture some more wonderful intimate moments of them together. It is two weeks away.

I visited with Angela, Antonio, and Anthony today. Angela wanted to take some candid family snap shots before the baby was born. Actually, we had planned some intimate pictures in the bed with her and Anthony but he decided today was not his day to cooperate inside. “Oh well,” we headed outside instead. Anthony was in a two year old mood. He cracks me up.

I had the privilege to document the graduating 2008 class of Charles A. Tindley. The Tindley school is a unique program and this is their first graduating class. I was amazed at the eloquent speaking by the salutatorian and valedictorian. These ladies showed maturity beyond their years. Dafney Robinbson, counselor to the students, is becoming a dear friend and we have taken some wonderful portraits of her daughter. Her devotion to the students was very evident. She compiled a slide show of her seniors that brought the audience to tears.
You can find out about Charles A Tindley through their website http://www.tindleyschool.org/

Former Mayor Bart Peterson was the guest speaker.

Congratulations class of 2008!

From the moment Chico greeted me at the door I fell in love. I am a sucker for cocker spaniels (having been picked as owner of Lady-Bug, a beauty with a black and white coat) and it was a sure bet this one was going to win me over.
Chico has a puppy spirit and prances around his home and backyard. The Hacketts, proud owners and parents to Chico, informed me that he was 9 years old and had recently been through reconstructive surgery on his nose due to cancer. He is also blind in one eye due to cataracts. However, playing with this cocker you would have thought he was a young pup, he definitely had the energy to outlast me for the days shoot.

We have had several beautiful newborns at the studio this past month. All should be Gerber babies they are so cute. With adorable personalities I have had fun with each one and can’t wait to capture the moments of them sitting up and crawling away. Every mom states, “I can’t believe how big he/she has gotten.”
Just wait until we are capturing them standing it will seem surreal.

I can’t wait until my sister has her baby girl. She will be posted all over the walls with Anothony.
Just 3 more months and we will see her beautiful face.
