SENIOR Portrait Time

July 30th, 2008 No Comments

It is definitely senior portrait time at the studio. We have a lot of fun with the different personalities and styles that everyone brings to the shoots. I have posted a few of my favorite pics from the most recent senior girls. I am in my element when they bring in all of the fun clothes and say, “Whatever you want to do Amy, we trust you.”

When Lauren pulled out her funky heels I couldn’t wait to start the shoot.

Shaylah started out the session kind of shy, but showed a more funky side in the studio.

Erika is a real laid back girl, and it is easy to capture that in her portraits.

Hubby and Me

July 29th, 2008 No Comments

I have been begging Craig all summer to sit down and take a few snapshots with me for a fine-art wall hanging I have been long wanting in our home. I picked the fabric almost three and a half months ago. I finally got the opportunity this Sunday. These three are my favorites, I think I will wait a few days to choose just which one.

Lady-Bug (aka: bug, boog, and poopie) our cocker spaniel snuck in for a few of the portraits.

Family Portraits

July 22nd, 2008 1 Comment

It has been a great summer for family portraits. Grover, the little boy wanted nothing to do with the funny photographer (me), instead he was latched on to mom and dad.

The white shirts photographed beautiful and gave a clean modern look to all of the families portraits.

The portraits taken outside lent well for custom paintings.

Here are a few I loved adding an artistic touch to.

Brittany at Tiffany’s

July 12th, 2008 No Comments

I know you have all been waiting to see this shoot.

After smooth talking ourselves out of a sticky situations with the security officers our shoot was a great success. This is just a sneak peak of all the fun we had. I hope you enjoy this small portion of the many portraits taken.

Thanks Jordan, there was no chance of getting Brittany on a boat or in the water without you :)

Listening for Abigail

July 10th, 2008 No Comments

We are throwing Angela’s baby shower this weekend, and I thought it fitting that we should take some maternity portraits before. Anthony popped in for one of the portraits and we caught him listening for his new baby sister Abigail.

Joseph’s Big Adventure (and Pooh Bear came too)

July 9th, 2008 No Comments

I learned today that Joseph brings Pooh Bear along everywhere. When we went to look for worms Pooh had to come, when we were searching for fish Pooh followed, and while taking portraits Joseph was clear that Pooh watched too.

Looking For Tinker Bell

July 9th, 2008 No Comments

The studio wasn’t quite working for little 3 year old Caitlin so we decided to go an an adventure. We went on search for the illusive Tinker Bell.

The weather was magical and the ground was muddy, it was perfect. On the way Caitlin informed me to keep watch for giants.

Thank you so much Caitlin for a very magical session. I promise to feed the giant for you.

Amanda and Scott’s Engagement Portraits

July 1st, 2008 No Comments

It was windy on Saturday but the sky was beautiful. Amanda and Scott brought wonderful weather with them for their engagement portraits. My instructions were to photograph whatever I wanted as long as it wasn’t to “lovey dovey.”
Thanks for all the fun Amanda and Scott. You two are simply adorable.
Stay posted to see their wedding pics in September.
