Shoe Party – Big Success

Thank You to all who attended our much needed “Girls Night – dedicated to the shoe.” The conversation was as fabulous as the variety of shoes that were worn.

I wore my vintage velvet green wedge peep toes with the brown leather bow

The forecast for rain held out during the morning portraits of Scott and Amanda’s ceremony. However, not for the reception at the Hillcrest Country Club. We were able to get some adorable shots underneath awnings and umbrellas at the golf course. The setting was breathtaking in the dining room. Amanda did a wonderful job with all of the small details.

The candle lighting of the reception was so beautiful. These images really captured the ambiance of the room.

Anthony is 3!!!

Anthony just turned 3 and I had yet to take his pictures. “The cobbler’s kids have no shoes.” So I couldn’t resist when he and Angela stopped by the studio to jump in the car and take him to the park. I couldn’t even take the blurry pictures out of the set. They so show his personality. I love you Anthony.

We say goodbye to Christina

Christina has been a staple here at the studio for over a year now. Always arriving with a genuine smile she lit up the place. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Christina recently as she leaves us for Miami State. We will keep in touch for she is a cherished employee and friend.

Of course my going away gift was shoes

We welcome Brittany, our newest member of the Portraiture family. She is bubbly and vivacious and fits in well with us here. We took this pic as a portrait of the two of us (can you find me?).

The air was misty and the rain was hovering during this adorable shoot. It made for beautiful natural lighting. We all came back wonderfully muddy with perfect portraits to share.

Labor Day Lake Pictures

My husband and I were invited out this Labor day weekend to visit a client and friend at their lake house. So I packed up my cameras and we drove up to Syracuse Indiana. It was a relaxing time and I caught a few cute candid snap shots as well.
