Jobsite Supply

October 28th, 2008 No Comments

I was commissioned to document the core walls being put in for St. Francis in Greenwood by Jobsite Supply in Indianapolis. It is amazing the intricate work that these men and women do.
I was a sight in my hard hat and runny nose (we happened to pick the coldest day of the week). The sun was coming up just as the tripod got set. The natural lighting was perfectly dramatic.

Zachary had a hard first session with us here at the studio. However you wouldn’t know it with the beautiful pics we captured with him and his mommy.
“Aren’t they beautiful?”

Wrapped in Their Quilt of Love

October 21st, 2008 No Comments

Nate and Lavonne came in to get photographs for their first Christmas cards as a married couple. Lavonne and I thought it would be a great idea to include the quilt that was made for them as a wedding gift. Since Lavonne is a graphic artist she appreciates techniques that add a fine-art touch.

“I cheese, Mimi! I cheese”

October 18th, 2008 No Comments

I was locking up the studio to leave yesterday, when my nephew strolled in and insisted, “I cheese mimi, I cheese.” This is his adorable way of saying I want my picture taken. Of course I couldn’t resist and we hopped into the studio (literally) and went to cheesing. He is always so proud of his tattoos (stick-ons). He idolizes Grandpa.

I loved turning these ones into a high contrast antique.

I love that more and more of our moms are opting for “Mommy and Me” portraits. Capturing precious moments between mother and child is my favorite time.

Fall, Fall, Fall

October 16th, 2008 No Comments

There has been a switch this year from spring outdoor portraits to fall portraits. I have noticed that more and more of our families are opting for fall location shots, and why not the scenery this year has been beautiful. We seem to have hit our peek this week with the fall leaves. The more I look around there is less and less green visible in the trees. As much as I hope the fall colors stick around longer, I do believe we will have a quick fall from the trees.

Fall Wedding

October 12th, 2008 1 Comment

What an absolutely beautiful day for a wedding. We have all decided that October is our favorite month for weddings. The backgrounds are beautiful, the light is perfect, and the temperature is just right. Samantha and Sean were married at the Sacred Heart Church. The ceremony was lovely. Their reception followed at the Plum Creek Golf Course and we had fun riding around in the golf carts picking out our backgrounds for romantic pictures.
Here are our favorites.  Congratulations on uniting a beautiful family :)

We had amazing weather for this years fall location event. All the children were in great spirits and excited to pick out their pumpkins. As always we have posted a few of our favorites from the sittings.

Rita’s Backyard is a staple for the Fishers Community. If you have not checked out this lovely spot you are missing a real treat.
Rita is a ball of energy and a “hoot ” to be around. Thank you so much for the weekend of fun. We will see you soon!
