We found a couple of baby mallards waddling around Angie’s back yard. Tip 1: when working with ducks make sure they are worn out. You should have seen us running around the back yard setting them back up into their poses Tip 2: Make sure you know where the mommy duck has flown off to, these two little ones now are in my father’s care until he thinks they are old enough to release back into the wild. Tip 3: After session, wash hands thoroughly.

This little doll was so easy to photograph. She was easily distracted by my pearls and the balloons her mom brought for her photo shoot. I also loved the lace outfit her mother bought for her off Etsy.com. I am so excited to present framed pieces to my clients. This little square image screamed for a teal color frame

I found some of the greatest props lately. They turn the studio into a Willy Wonka fest! This cute little brother and sister were one of the first to get their pictures taken with them. How yummy! I think we need a cotton candy machine

I think my ultimate favorite session is a one year session. I currently have a one year wall designated in my home for Seeley’s first birthday. One is the time to create that permanent family heirloom piece of art that will remain up forever…or at least until they get married. This little cutie’s mom got it!

“I came in today to see Amy. I wore my flower pajama pants because I love daisy’s, the brown and polka dot shirt spoke to me from the closet, Grandma gave me the bunny slippers and they are soooo cosy, and the watermelon cap looked too cute to pass up. Mom should really let me dress myself every day. Not just on daycare ‘tacky day’.”

Mom picked some cute clothes too . . . . .

Alexander was kind enough to tell me about all the healing plants that were around us while we walked down a trail, “this one”, he told me “will help itching . . . like with bug bites.”

and right when I was about to take this first series of pics he said, “Hey, Amy . . . . Have you heard the story about the frog?”
