Madison’s infectious laugh was wonderful to photograph for her high school senior photos. I can still hear it as I am trying to figure out just which ones were my favorites to add to this post. I am enjoying getting back into the swing of high school senior portraits after the birth of Seeley. I am really looking forward to the class of 2013. I have some wonderful ideas that I can’t wait to start working on. Give me a call if you are a Junior soon to be Senior at Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, Carmel, Lawrence North or Noblesville. Make-up and High School Senior Pictures | Indianapolis Photographer

It is very common for high school senior girls to ask about the necessity of a make-up artist for their photo session. Many girls at this age are concerned that they generally do not wear make-up and they don’t want to appear unnatural. The make-up artists that we schedule here at the studio work very closely with me to make sure we get just the right look for each and every session. The camera tends to flatten out the face making it is extremely important to wear an adequate amount during a photo shoot, that it compliments skin tone, and is appropriate for both indoor and outdoor lighting. I don’t think Caleigh will mind that I have posted her pictures here with no post processing to show just how much the right makeup can enhance an image. Thanks so much Caleigh! You are GORGEOUS!

P.S. Admittedly the last photo had nothing whatsover to do with makeup !

Lily came in on a hazy Sunday. The foggy weather made the blue in her eyes really pop. We dodged the rain for some beautiful shots.

Musical Talent Galore | Westfield, Indiana High School Senior Photographer

Jessica came to her photo shoot lugging a ton of musical instruments. Cracked me up when she realized she had actually forgotten her flute. This Westfield teen looked fabulous and for icing on the cake had Lora do her makeup. I love it when Lora starts off our high school senior girl’s sessions.

Alex’s senior photo session really brought out his easy nature. You would be surprised to find him so competitive in his football role as Fisher’s 2009 quarterback.

Fashion Show | Fishers, Indiana Event Photographer

Every year I get the privilege to photograph the HSE Cheer Fundraiser. It is a wonderful lunch and fashion show. The girls and this year guys entertain with wonderful fashions from local boutiques. It is a fun Sunday event and I enjoy seeing all the trends modeled by these beautiful and charismatic girls. The mothers model some of there favs and I must say you all looked stunning this year (as always).

Erika is such a beauty. . . . . Though she was afraid of bugs (even butterflies) she let me drag her outdoors into this beautiful field.

Music Crazy

A Touch of Color

I have had some fun designing some new backgrounds for our seniors. I really love the splash of color designs. I had a great time playing around with them for Audra’s senior studio session. They are fun loving and easy. Also with the 60.s style mod dress that she wore for part of the shoot the set was great. Audra was relaxed for the shoot while listening to jazz and singing along with many of her faves. It was easy to capture many different personalities and expressions. I have also postd a few of the more dramatic shots on the website under seniors.
