Madison’s infectious laugh was wonderful to photograph for her high school senior photos. I can still hear it as I am trying to figure out just which ones were my favorites to add to this post. I am enjoying getting back into the swing of high school senior portraits after the birth of Seeley. I am really looking forward to the class of 2013. I can’t tell you how exciting it is to hear from previous high school students where I had taken their senior portraits and they are in need of additional photography services. Whether it is for their rush pictures, wedding pictures, corporate pictures, it is always great to get a chance to sit and catch up and get excited about what is happening in their lives. So when Audra contacted me and said, “I am in need of a vibrant and striking headshot for the Miss Indiana competition this June,” I can’t say I was too surprised. As in the first time I got to photograph Audra, she is full of endless energy and enthusiasm. All I can say is the competition is going to have their hands full with this girl. Good Luck Audra. Six to Nine Month Baby Sessions | Indianapolis Baby Photographer

There is nothing better than a dimpled butt baby. Most parents want to get that final butt shot as soon as their baby is sitting up on their own and I’m super happy to oblige. It is also a time when their personalties are taking shape and they are delighted in mimicing the expression of the person in front of them. “Make a fish face” is sure to get a variety of looks as they try and figure out just how you did you do that

A middle of the first year portrait session can be soooo much fun! We encourage our parents to use their 3-6 month or 6-9 month session as soon as their baby is sitting up strong on their own and preferably before they crawl. This is the time we can introduce more elaborate clothing choices, but I still love a nakee baby!

P.S. If you are not familiar with our baby package, please call the studio. 90% of our new parents either purchase it for themselves or receive it as a baby gift. It is unlike any other local studio’s package in that it is very affordable and gets you custom designed products from each session. Its been featured most recently on Angie’s List!

This little guy had trouble warming up in the session and mom at first didn’t think we got ANY images. I think she is going to be very pleasantly surprised. I want to hang these on my wall. What do you think?

Photographing children just being children is the BEST. These two giggle and laugh together all the time. It was a great experience documenting them just being themselves! I guarantee I smiled through the whole session.

A Day at StonyCreek in Noblesville | Indiana Photographer

We spent this last weekend getting down and dirty at Stonycreek Nursery. Thanks for all the great families who met us out at the pumpkin patch. We were camouflaged in dust and leaves by the end of the day.

Caitlyn + Robert say “I do” at Coxhall Gardens | Carmel Wedding Photographer

I brought along with me to the park 100 helium balloons to make the final shot of the ceremony a memorable one . . . . . this is toooooo cute (great job Caitlyn)

Caitlyn and Robert were married this weekend to a beautiful ceremony that took place at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel. The couple was excited for pictures in the children’s area and the balloons made for a great compliment to their fabulous personalities.

Robert couldn’t take his eyes off of his beautiful bride the entire evening, it made many of us blush with envy. The intimate reception was hosted at the groom’s farm and the twilight was perfect for the mood the newly weds created.

Ps . . . . Thanks, Caitlyn and Robert for a beautiful evening. I can’t wait to be able to share the rest of your portraits with you. You truly made me feel like an artist photographing you.
